bleaaahhhhhh...
So it's been about 100 degrees here this week and thus I haven't done much except sit around and sweat. The window A/C is up, but that only cools one room.
As soon as the sun goes down, we open up all the windows and doors. The cats love this. TK is very very busy going from one to another. He wants to be at each at the same time! HRT just picks one and tries to stay out of his way.
We escaped to see "Iron Man" and really enjoyed the movie as well as the A/C. Although at $8 for a matinee (!!!), we damn well better have.
The word of the week has been: PA-SICKIES!!!

PA-SICKIES are teh good in this weather. so are ice-cubes.

Even though we're just now starting to warm up to actual late spring/early summer temps, I have been muttering PA-SICKIES for quite some time, simply because I love the word. (That CO post was tooooooo cute!)
Tell TK that if he'd take his fur off, he'd be much cooler. See what he thinks of that notion...
Hot weather used to make TK all floppity, but not this week; he's been pouncing on HRT as much as usual. He's about to do it now. Yep, there's the tortie GRRRRRR. She was on teh windo shlef and he wanted it.
At the worst of the heat, we did have filet-o-kitties on the floor. FLOOMPH.
Tux boy looooves open windows and doors and he's getting his exercise at night walking from one to another and talking. "Rrr? rrRR? RRR?"
The fur is coming off both of them in this weather -- great poofs of floof being shed from Tortie. Fabulous Daddy has dispensed hairball medicine.
Can you use those thumblock things that fit in the window sill so you could keep the windows open just a few inches? Something has to be done, if it's this hot this early in the year, it's going to be miserable the rest of the summer. The bars will be a good investment for your kitties.
