We're those old-fashioned people who still get a daily dead-tree paper. And of course Sunday color comics are still important, if not the total thrill they were when grandma was young.
Today, Mr. LT hands the section over to me and says we have new comics.

Oh boy!
1. Draw hot bath, add bubbles. Bubbles are too old, don't foam. Eh, so what. Watch tuxedo cat watch water.
2. Turn on soft all-instrumental music to drown out neighborhood noises and funny sound of rattling plastic in bedroom.
3. Sit in bath.
4. Veg. AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH.
5. Have tuxedo cat sniff at you, stare at the water, try to eat your hair.
6. Snorgle tux cat.
7. Tux cat leaves.
8. Exfoliate with lavender-rosemary salt scrub.
9. Rinse.
10. Get sniffed at by tux cat again.
11. Pull plug, get out, dry off, turn off music. Ahhhhhh.
12. Blindly search bathroom and bedroom for glasses, swearing you left them RIGHT THERE.
13. Happen to look in middle of bedroom floor and see glasses, pick them up.
14. Remember earlier funny sound, notice new teef marks on earpieces.
15. Put on glasses, grumble at tux cat, write blog.

Well, you could probably stick another zero on the end, but I'd much rather pay vet bills for Teh Big Handsum Tukseedo Cat than a phone that'll be obsolete before your contract's up. Tuxedo cats never go out of style.

tooday I had too go teh bad stinky place AGIN! i din't hav too stay ovrnite, but alot and alot alot of teh day. mommy sez they needed too get a sampl of my pee. I am not makin near as much pee as i use too so tehy made me stay thre. no fun. like LOLCAT sez, thrmometr goez WHERE? o_O
anyway then wen I got home, mommy givd me lots of gooshyfood. tht is teh only good part abowt bein sick, I get alot of gooshyfood alot of timez a day. but they put icky pillz in my mouf evry nite. pleh!
it is reely reely hot! so mostly I hav been Longcat sleepin on teh cowch an teh windo shlef. aftr it gets dark, I pownce on tortie an play fetch with Daddy.

I just got bak frm teh bad stinky place agin. I sez MAOW! in teh car all teh way hom to sho Mommy how I felt.
I hav eatd and had watr an now Im going to sleep alot and alot alot.

The poor baby is back at the vet for at least one more night. He wasn't eating anything but was still barfing everywhere.
Him kidney enzymes are way out of whack.
Nice Indian lady vet sez he's too young to have all this, suspects him may have eaten something toxic. We don't use strong chemicals and we always pick up loose pills, but the way he gets into stuff and eats it, who knows?
(Either that, or Her Royal Tortieness has gone all Borgia.)
Sigh. What's another $500? Who needs vacations and money when there's tuxitude?
He survived the vet appointment, grrrrrr. (The vet is the only time/place TK growls)
B/c he's still not peeing freely, he gets an extended batch of antibiotics. Sigh. Ptui. He's really okay with the pills, but then we have to go for the liquid and you'd think we were killing him.
This was set off by an infection that caused him to start precipitating struvite crystals. It got his pee out of whack, pH-wise, it got much too alkaline. As FDaddy said, "He needs more vinegar in his piss!" Heh. Having had any number of infections there, I sympathize entirely.
The kittehs continue with eating the prescription foods. TK is sleeping a skosh more than usual (I know, how can you tell with a cat?) but when he's awake, he's making life miserable for Tortie, GRRR HISS GROWL. Poor girl, but it's a sign of recovery that he's being bratty again.
Still can't quite trust him alone so he's spending nights in solitary. ROOOWWWL.
Him has another appointment in 2 weeks. Am hoping he returns to being the pee-monster, soaking the litter.
