One of my videos is too big/long. However, this shorter one is the less-wobbly of the two, Although it has much less gnawing goofyness from tuxboy. I'll try to get the other one edited down for tomorrow.
Here's HRT and TK in the kitchen, and a guest starring passion fruit rind.
If you haven't already, check out the photos of Captain Punkinhead and his adorable Halloween costume over at rpennefe's. (if you're one of her neighbors too)
I provided the adorable "Pirate In Training" t-shirt and she did all the hard work in providing the rest and the baby.
Cute!
Last night, our cable modem was out for a while and so Fabulous Daddy went to see if there was anything he could do.
There was a nice open space on the desk, and a floofy little HRT who wanted some attention.
These are camera phone pix so they're not the best, but the tortietude and cuteness still shows.
I let Tortie sleep with me last night. She was a very good girl. She snuggled and purred for about 10 min. when I climbed into bed, then she slept not on me and not in my space (!) all night.
When I was sort of half awake this morning (hubby was up and making going-to-work noises), she did the mewing and big pleading purr till I let her get under the covers and petted her again. Floof and purrs are the best zen meditation ever. You get no-mind very easily.
Then she wiggled out and let me sleep some more. Not once did she whine to get out and eat gooshyfud until I actually got up and then I got the big meows. She ate crunchies overnight and I'm sure she appreciated being safe from tuxbrat for hours.
Now the only problem will be NOT letting her in tonight. The princess gets expectations.
P.S. Today's CO calendar, Rule of Cuteness #29, the paw-flexing: she did that and it is certainly cute. The illustrating kitn is almost a dead ringer for Previous Ping-Type Kitty (minus floof) so I may have to save this page.
HRT is up above 10 lbs. -- the biggest ever for the petite princess. It's the gooshyfud 4 times a day.
TK is at 15 1/2! No wonder he's looking so Widecat. Him's porked up quite a bit since his long, lean 11-12 lb. kitteh days.
May have to make the next batch o' crunchies low fat.
However, I weigh a few pounds less than I have in a couple of years, so the total chub of the household remains steady. Although it doesn't mean my clothes fit any better.
Ha! Tortie just made TK go all popcat by prairie dogging (You know, popcat -- when they boing straight up and straight back down, like toast). She's been doing a lot of prairie dog lately, it's so cute. She's the best at it of any kitty I've ever known, it's impressive how long she can sit up or even stand.
TK is impressing (if that's the word) us with the sheer amount of volume he can create with his mouth closed. He'll be going ROOWWWWWL, a noise we can only make with our mouths wide open, but he does it with his almost completely shut, often while running full-tilt down the hall.
I cannot get through to Tuxbrat that he'd have fewer ants in his house if he'd quit eating the daddy long legs.
In which Tortie once again gets thoroughly fed up with tuxbrat, and
In which TK sort of figures out how bubbles work
This video from the LA Times shows a gal who's made a QTE video game.
I'm submitting it to CO but putting it here in case it doesn't make it.

(can't get the embed thingy to work right)
I still can't upload all the videos, but here's a short one of HRT and TK with the bubbles for your Friday catblogging fun:
AAAARRRGGGH.
Well, maybe it will be made available. I'll try again tomorrow.
