Here's the pretty pretty princess kitty chasing after Feather-On-A-Stick.
(I couldn't load this before as I mentioned in the last post. Please look at that for stills of HRT.)
I rotated the camera towards the end, but I warned everyone on the audio before I did it. So you will have to flop
your head sideways to see the big finish.

So here's how my Thanksbirthday began, me, a floofy kitty, and a pumpkin spice Krispy Kreme.

Bowing to my superior knowledge of Cat (and more time to think about it), Mr. LT agrees that when TK typed the new emoticon, he was trying to describe the face HRT was making at him.
Thanks also to Auntie M for her rendition of Tattletale TK having the temerity to complain that HRT doesn't like being beaten up.

Mr. LT came into the other room to tell me a story, and here are his notes:
"TK ambushed HRT, ran away, bounded off of Daddy's laptop, ran up the cat tree, looked back at HRT with ears flat and taunting expression.
He hit 4 keys simultaneously on the laptop and it produced"

which Mr. LT interprets as pretty much the expression TK had, namely, cat with ears flat, eyes half open, tongue sticking out.
I believe this should be the Official TK Emoticon. Techno-brat strikes again.

Several hours later: I just realized that in fact, when they're chasing around, HRT flattens
her ears, growls and leaves her tongue stuck out at him. So maybe he
was trying to communicate what she was doing to him?? "Daddy, tortie is [';p at meeeee!"
I was all excited today to receive my envelope from the PIP FAN CLUB! (As previously mentioned in this space, the fabulous Laugh-Out-Loud Cats comic strip from HOBOTOPIA.COM. Read them all here. I'll wait.)
As a Founding Member of TEH FOUNDLINGS, I got my membership card, Pip's newsletter "Teh Leaflet", a lapel pin, an original cartoon, and an envelope with a Secret inside it, which of course I cannot reveal to any non-members of the club. Later, I'll be getting color postcards of art.
You can has plain ol' memberships later this week for only $10 (no originals or pin, but all teh other goodies).

Teh Secret was written on a piece of paper about the size of a fortune cookie insert. I wish I'd had a video camera going b/c before I got a chance to read it, it fluttered down and landed right on the bridge of HRT's nose!!! "Mrrrt?" she said as I was laughing and sploding from teh cute.
Well, just think, this whole movement of art was started by this guy.
Finally, some video of Her Royal Tortieness!
Fabulous Daddy brought home a dying helium balloon last night. Miss HRT has always enjoyed playing with the strings of balloons -- they move in interesting ways thanks to the buoyancy.
I give you: Her Floofy Cuteness!
She kept playing after Fabulous Daddy turned off the camera, and in fact this was her second go-round with the balloon. It lies on the floor completely defeated now.
P.S. So she doesn't kill me in my sleep, I must add that the ending is rather deceiving, actually -- the crash is from landing on some crap we left on the couch, magazines and newspapers. She's not quite that klutzy. Fabulous Daddy decided to cut it there -- she kept playing on the couch but he went for the funny.
Now I see why "the first one is always free".
I got my cards today and they could NOT BE any cuter!!!!!
If you had a litter of kittens atop a Disapproving Rabbit with a side order of pandas, they would be this cute.
Will show them later -- I picked pix of the kittehs, natch.
