However, she really likes Krispy Kreme's seasonal Pumpkin Spice. I think b/c she's kinda like a spice cake herself.
And we even have video of her going NOM NOM NOM:
I am crockpotting a pot roast in cabernet sauce and of course it's been smelling wonderful for hours even though it won't be ready for hours more.
gallllggggghhhh. yummeh.
Will be serving with 4-cheese scalloped potatoes and possibly fresh asparagus.
I am literally watering at the mouf (better than foaming at the mouth).
All the fudz are from Trader Joe's.
Last night we had a chicken and we had to fight small furry aminals for it.
Tonight we're going to the annual Chinese New Year banquet. 10 courses of gourmet food plus all the expensive wine you can glug.
I always like the whole roast pig, but this year I'm intrigued by the Pineapple Ravioli With Lemon Grass Sauce.
I'll suffer through the lobster, fish, quail, rice... ;)
Outdoors, brr and damp.
Indoors, I has flannel and fleece.
Yesterday I made a pot of my semi-famous beef and 13-bean soup so the house smelled wonderful. The BFF's came over to eat it. We had one ginormous bowl each, big chunk of French bread, small glass of red wine.
Then we played some Wii bowling and tennis and creation of new Miis. TK "helped" with the bowling by swatting at our hands just as we let go of the "ball". He had to be relocated.
They noticed how TK is no longer just a skinny long-leggedy beastie, but how he's put on a lot of weight (mostly muscle) recently. Gotta keep an eye on him so he doesn't go the rotund way of Daddy Moo.
HRT sat atop the cat tree, watching some and snoozing some, happy that the brat had something besides her to focus his brattitude upon.
Later Mr. LT and I imported a bunch of Miis from out there. Also noticed there were some new ones that had come directly to us -- methinks either Mariser or DavidBoBavid have had friends over; who created "Ant-Man"?
The shoppingks is almost all done; the mail-order things are on their way. Between Amazon and ThinkGeek, I got 'em covered.
So there's an exciting Monday at the LT house. Today will be much more boring.
PS Sunday we went out to do some local shopping and so I could pick up the ingredients for the soup. We did has cheezburger (In-N-Out) and as we were leaving the grocery store, the Krispy Kreme HOT NOW light was on and the smell of fresh donuts wafted across the parking lot. So I decided I needed a couple for the next day's breakfast, went in, bought them, and the lady gave us each a free donut straight off the line! I was stuffed but I inhaled it anyway. Mmmm.... donuts. All warm and fluffy and goooooey. Sublime.

we wuz almost owt of crunchys, down too teh bottm of teh bag wen they start gettin stale. I went meow meow and tortie went MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW! so Mommy sez she wuld go owt an get us mor. she is in charj of food. an she wuz all xcitd wen she gottd bak.

so tortie wuz very happy. she goez crunch crunch crunch reely loud on them. evn loudr then me.
I gues tortie wuz rite too keep askin for thm. maybe teh crunchys peepl heard her askin!
mommy sez tht these crunchys have less 'kal-o-rees' as teh ones we ben eatin. I dont kno what 'kalorees' ar, but mommy sez if I get to many I wil not be as cute or handsum so I gess less 'kalorees' ar good? she sez if the crunchys has less 'kalorees', I gets to eat mor! tht's very good!
gotta ask mommy for bedtime crunchys now!

mommy sez ther is NO MORE of tortie's favrite crunchys so she tryd givng us all sorts of diffrnt crunchys. me an tortie both actd just like Pip heer:
finaly mommy stoppd tryin and just givd us MY favrit crunchys. wich are tortie's secnd favrit. but she kept askin mommy for her favrit for a cupl weeks anyway. she is a cat and she knos it nevr hurts too ask. teh lastest crunchys she tryed we both hatd alot and alot. evn teh stoopid possum wuld'nt eat thm!
I wish I had a frend to play with like teh deej does. I wuld play with deej an diblit if I culd. tortie stil dosn't play with me in resslin an paw swattng. she just goes grrr an hiss. she chasez aftr me somtimes and wen she does she haz ths look [';p on her face. i don't kno why she puts her earz down an tung owt, but it maks mommy and daddy laff.

The annoying and boring stories of LT's life.
1) Dentistry. Yes. 4 more fillings today, the last 4 next week. woo. hoo. That'll max out the insurance. So I get December off and then it's back for more work.
2) Cat crunchies. Yesterday I tried them on Newman's Own. Organic and healthful or not, both the kitties turned up their noses at it after only a couple of bites. I give up. They'll keep eating Innova Evo (and hopefully the bastids will keep making the small bags of THAT) and I'll trade in the NO for gooshyfoods. At least the shelter cats have been getting some good eats.
Big Daddy Moo cat just strolled by along the fence. He turned to look at me, I waved, and he cruised on. I wonder where he goes every day and night. Someone must feed him outside regularly for him to be so big and long-lived (I think he's 4, which is really good for a stray tomcat).
I took an antihistamine so I need to go pass out and sleep. Napping, a fave of ----->
