I subscribe to a few cartoons through my iGoogle. One I love (which isn't daily) is Bad Reporter. It's thoughtful and silly all at the same time, in the same strip. The most recent is an example:
We are having technical difficulties getting the kittypix uploaded. :( If you want to see them right now, you'll have to come to my house and I'll show you on the camera. :) Of course, at that point, you could see the kitties IRL.
Summed up in one cartoon -- one of my favorite strips, which I read every day online and always LOL at. Today's is particularly funny to me.

Every year about this time, I like to rewatch one of the finest examples of musical theater ever, namely:
1776
It's suspenseful (even though you know how it ends), moving, FUNNY, happy, sad, makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and best of all -- historically accurate! I once aced a midterm in American History I thanks to knowing this musical by heart.
It's still done by local theater groups, so you can see it live. But nothing beats the movie version, which is on tonight on TCM. Or, check out this link on the U Toob:
It's great to watch any time of year.

You know I have been raving about the comics for years (well, two) and now they're out in a hard-cover book that you can find in your bookstore, or at Amazon.
It has several toons never published before, and new versions of a lot of the older ones.
I am not in any way affiliated, just a big fan.

Yesterday in a parking lot, I saw a car that had a completely dusty back window and saw some markings on it. I figured it was the usual "WASH ME" drawn by a finger. But no. It said:
