I always have to feed the kittehs before myself in the morning. So I blame this on low blood sugar.
I put down a clean bowl for HRTortie b/c her old one had dried food and gunk on it, and some long cat hair. Which is to be expected since she's a very floofy girl.
This lead to my brain singing:
She's a very floofy girl
The kind you do bring home to mother
She's a
Super floof! Super floof!
She's super floofy!
whoa oh oh oh...
I am eating my Cocoa Puffins now.
Gotta buy both crunchies and gooshyfood today and some people food, and return library books, so I won't be around till later..
Yesterday I made another loaf of bread. Mr. LT got a new belt to drive the motor for it, and it makes much less noise -- doesn't bother the kitty ears! Plus a turkey teriyaki meatloaf.
Hope everyone is having a tolerable Tuesday.
Every year about this time, I like to rewatch one of the finest examples of musical theater ever, namely:
1776
It's suspenseful (even though you know how it ends), moving, FUNNY, happy, sad, makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and best of all -- historically accurate! I once aced a midterm in American History I thanks to knowing this musical by heart.
It's still done by local theater groups, so you can see it live. But nothing beats the movie version, which is on tonight on TCM. Or, check out this link on the U Toob:
It's great to watch any time of year.
Friends, I give you today's hot Internet meme realization:
MORE COWBELL!
You upload a song, choose what percentage of extra cowbell to add, and/or a percentage of Christopher Walken's lines from that sketch.
Or you can click on "Recent Cowbells" and hear what other people have done.
Like the Rolling Stones "Sympathy For The Devil". (the first verse is perfect)
Or a Bach adagio
Or the theme to "The Price Is Right" (more cowbell! turns out good)
Or, of course, the inspiration for the sketch: "Don't Fear the Reaper"
People are uploading songs faster than you can listen to them, in every genre.
This will be short as I am still very tired. Did not realize how long Pirates is, it didn't seem like it, but lo, our 9:30 show did let out at 12:30, which meant I didn't get to sleep till after 2. Then had to get up and have an overfull weekend of not nearly enough sleep (not in own bed), almost enough food (with enough bacon!), just enough booze, too much sugar and caffeine, and way way way too much fun with panels, shopping, discussions, readings, shopping, parties, talks with friends, chats with new and interesting people...
I am only awake right now b/c friends stopped by on their way out of town to pet HRT and TK. HRT was okay with it and submitted to snuggles and scritches, but TK was FREAKED with his eyes bugged out in that way he does so well b/c he is scared of all strangers and never saw a wheelchair before. I am eating and going back to bed. Expect kittehs will have a nap after all the excitement.
No chaoses completed AFAIK. Tortie still has all her fur and there were a few crunchies left. TK even wanted to be petted before he ate the gooshyfood! Him actually missed us being gone for soooo long (Sat. about 10:30 AM till Mon. about 7 PM).
Man, I am tired. But it was a lot of fun. I have a ton of new books to read and I can hardly decide which to tackle first.

What's your musical horoscope? (Put your music player on shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that come up.) Inspired by Stephanie.
Well, thanks a lot, Stephanie, b/c I don't HAVE one of those!
