Poor HRT needs attention, what with little brat TK taking up all the
space and bouncing around and attacking her and keeping her from
napping on people's laps.

Yes, as made famous by the fourth incarnation of the Doctor. It's like 15 feet long.
My mother knitted a replica of it for teh hubster for Christmas one year, and a 3/4 size one for me. She was a world-class knitter and could make anything. But she told us she would never ever do that again. Ever. Never. :)
It's DAMN warm, I'll tell you. I've gone out in windy below-zero weather in mine and been toasty.
